Early New Year's Resolution?!

Seeing that this blog only reported two kids and hasn't been updated in close to year...
And due to numerous requests by people (grandparents)...it is probably time to get current and make a better effort to keep current!

We are now in our third year living in Indianapolis - Patrick is teaching at Lutheran High School and Katie is teaching 3rd/4th grade at Emmaus Lutheran School. Sophi is now 3 1/2, Mia is 19 months, and Izzy is 10 weeks old. Our house in now full and we should probably start saving for the weddings.

Included below are a couple of recent pics - Halloween, Bath, Izzy's Baptizm etc. More pics are posted on Patrick's Facebook page.

Where, Oh Where Did Summer Go???

It is now July 28th - and thousands of miles later, summer has flown by. I start school Aug 12th and Katie is the following day...yes...START, as in kids walking in the door! That is price you pay to be done by Memorial Day. This summer has been very hectic - by choice - with maybe only a total of 2 weeks at home in Indianapolis.
My dad and I took off for two weeks of backpacking around Costa Rica and Nicaragua - followed immediately by kayaking up in Northern Michigan...
We took a family trip out East to Philly, NYC, Maine, and Quebec. Sophia - now two - has been to a total of 30 states! Mia still trails at a measly 14.
I was excited that after that trip, my count is up to 49...now to find an excuse to get to Hawaii...
I will try to get some pictures up soon...

Visit to Columbus

We had the chance to zip over to Columbus to see baby Claire. Sophie loved seeing a real life baby...
